HISTORY

CARDINALTV22 was established in 2003 with the purchase of the district's first CastNet server. The CastNet server gave our school district the ability to play digital video and schedule programming so that the community could enjoy special school events at home. While traditionally used as a community-based "bulletin board" the channel came alive with the addition of live videos of elementary music programs and graduation commencement videos.
In 2007, the channel grew again with the addition of the District Video Club (DVC) and expanded to airing over 50 events per year. The student-run club continues to contribute quality programming to CARDINALTV22 and has raised the bar for event programming.

BROADCAST STUDIOS

We currently have two studios in the district. Brookside High School is the home of "Studio B" which is where the Brookside Connection is broadcasted from every morning. Our original studio at Sheffield Middle School is a state of the art studio available for use by the community. If interested, please contact Mr. Doug Cogdell @ 440-949-4214.
