Want to Get Involved?
Do you have an interest in learning about video
production or being part of a news telecast? The District Video Club
is looking for sixth through twelfth grade students interested in being a
part of the DVC Team. We are not only looking for students interested
in working behind the cameras but we are also looking for on-air talent as
well.
The DVC is a year round activity club but students do not need to commit to
a full year of participation to be a part of the club.
We realize that students are
involved in other various school activities and commitments. Students can
still be involved as their schedule permits while still being in Band,
Sports as well as other clubs. Students are encouraged to contact Mr. Mark
Cizl if interested in participation in any of the District Video Club
activities.

The District Video Club
The District Video Club (DVC) was established in 2007 and serves as a
way for students of the Sheffield-Sheffield Lake City Schools to learn
about video production using state of the art equipment. The club
meets weekly and is trained by club director and advisor Mr. Mark Cizl.
Students from 6th grade through 12th grade can expect to learn what it
is like to be on a professional video crew. In one year, the DVC
successfully produced over 75 events to be aired on CardinalTV.
